McAlpine (Mr. Phillips), application for a reservation of timber area,, 400 acres, sections 18, 19, 24, 26, .29, 30, 31 and 35, Block XII., Inangahua S.D.—Adjourned till 31st October, 1918.

Sarah Morris (Mr. Patterson), application for a. coal prospecting license of 300 acres, situated in Block 1., Reefton S.D.—Adjourned till 31st October, for applicant to appear personally to give evidence in support of application. Reefton Coal Company (Mr. Patterson), application for a tramway, situated in Block X., Reefton S.D. Mr. Phillips appeared on behalf of the County Council and Mr. Jrving. —Adjourned.
