POLLARD'S TWEXTY-SIXTjI rem: FIT. Pollard's twenty-sixth monthly patriotic entertainment in aid of p.-itiiotic funds was held in the Opera House on Monday last. There was a fairly good attend ance. The fiivt part of the programme comprised some vei'y fine "movies," the principal film being "Tim Scar." and the second portion consisted of solos, mou-o----10-mes, quartettes and recitations given by the members cf St. Columba Club as follows: Songs, "Somewhere in fiance'' and "Charge of flic Hussars," Mr T. Clarke; violin quartette, Misses V. Hannan, W. O'Neill, I. Hannam, and L. de Lcpervanche ; trio (piano), Misses V. Larcombe. A. Kflly and E. Oliver; songs, "An Old-fashioned Home" and "Salaam,' Miss N". ('"linnn ; monologue? (huinoroms), "Under tlv Circumstances" and "Orr Guide in Rome" (from Mark Twain's "Innocents Abroad"). Mr F.
