DESTRUCTIVE CYCLONE. BRISBANE, This Day .—The s.s. Mindini brought news of a terrific cyclone in the Solomons, damaging plantations. Planters estimate that it will be from four to six months before they will he able to ship bananas. SYDNEY WOOL SALES. SYDNEY, This Day. The wool sales opened with an extremely firm market, there being active competition in all classes. Prices are still tending in the sellers' favour. Greasy crosshreds touched 20d, merino 19kl, and scoured 28d. STRIKE ENDED. BRISBANE, This Day.— Tlia "conlies" strike has ended, the men resuming pending a court of inquiry.
