At 9 o'clock this morning the barometer registered 29.60 degrees, and the thermometer 66 degrees. Rain has fallen on 16 days this month, the total being 11. Last evening thci Dominion Meterologist telegraphed the following weather summary:—"The barometer has been unsteady, with a falling tendency, and the winds have been variable with moderate to strong northerlies predominating. The weather lias been very wet and humid. Heavy rain fell during the night in Westland and showers in the southern districts." Mr D. C. Bates telegraphed at noon today as follows: "The indications are for northerly winds strong to gale, but changing to southerly after about 24 to 36 hours. Expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts. Much rain is to be expected ; barometer falling, but rising after about 36 hours; sea increasing on the coast and tides increasing." j
