AN INJUNCTION DEMANDED
(by TXSX.EQ RAPH, PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) PALMERSTON N., July 17. At the Supreme Court to-day before the Chief Justice, Sir Robert Stout. W. V. R. Pearce, farmer, of Oroua Bridge, proceeded against Edward I’. Levien, James Tennant and Harold. Jarvis, fo £250 damages and an injunction, prn/cnting them from allowing the Oroua River to he polluted from flax refuse, which the plaintig alleged polluted Ihe water and rendered it unfit for caUle to d.niiK and caused the river to flood his property in flood time, thus spoiling the pasture.
