EMINENT GEOLOGIST TO INVESTIGATE. Professor Dr. Wanner, geologist who has had many years experience in Borneo and Sumatra and other oilfields, arrived in Greymouth by the steamer Arahura to-day. The Doctor, who was engaged by Mr David Ziman, will at once make an extensive exploration and investigation iiito the oil-fields situated in and around Kotuku and Lake Brunner on behalf of the Kotuku Oilfields Syndicate. Mr Morgan, of the Government Geological staff, will accompany Dr Wanner.
