FRESH FOOD AND ICE COY.

The adjourned meeting of shareholders in the Greymouth Fresh Food and Ice Company was held in the Royal Hotel last* night. There were twenty shareholders present,many of them from Rotoniana and the country districts and Mr W. R. Kettle, chairman of directors, occupied the chair. 'Hie previous meeting had been adjourned to enable the settlors in the Grey Valley to give the necessary guarantee of 250 cows’ supply. This was exceeded as it was shown on looking over the guaranteed list that the supply from 280 was pledged. It was then unanimously decided to proceed with the erection of a central factory in Grey mo nth which will be constructed on ‘ up-to-date principles. Mr Kinneburgh will supervise the erection and so ensure that everything is done on scientific principles and in compliance with the requirements of such an institution.
