GREYMOUTH HARBOR BOARD

A special meeting of the Greymouth Harbor Board was held this morning when there were present: Messrs Alison (Chair), Mclnrod, Coates, ITaiman and Murdoch. The following resolutions were agreed to:— ; "That tho resolution of 18th of December 1884'appointing the Bank of New Zealand, bankers" to the Board be now rescinded aiid that tho Union Bank of Australia, be appointed bankers to the Bqard." "That pending, the raising of the monies authorised to be raised by the Greymouth Harbour Board Loan Act 1907 the Board resolves to borrow the sum of £IO,OOO from the Union Bank of Australia Ltd., by tho hypothecation and mortgage 'of debentures to the extent cf !£IO,OOO authorised to be issued by that Act. Messrs Robert' 1 Alison and T. Eldon Coates were authorised to affix the corporate seal) to the said resolutions. Tho Board [then went into committee to consider.'shipping charges, and will report oil same'at next meeting.
