THE DISPUTE SETTLED. (Our Special Reporter). OTIRA, This Day. A slight trouble was caused at Otira yesterday between the night shift and ,Mr Diiihie. The former wanted half an' hour 'for crib and Mr Dinnie would not allow it, so they caused the other men to cease work at once. .-."'. \ They calleH'-isai' meeting yesterday morning and the ■men were unanimous in returning; jto work at once. They started last.evening'at 6 o'clock, working six hour shifts." The tunnel jis very wet. The Union jwas not consulted in regard to the'-men ceasing work and no meeting was i held- prior to the men ceasing. ' •; ■■■ ' Five men J have left the tunnel. Everything Isj quiet. ■
