CONCERT AT DUNOLLIE.

A highly successful and well attended concert was hold in the Druids Hall Dunollio last evening. The Yen. Archdeacon York occupied the chair and introduced the performers, who one and all acquitted themselves well and were enthusiastically received. Miss Lily Cottle played the opening selection in splendid stylo and Miss L. Fraser followed with ‘Sing mo to sleep,’ which was very sweetly sung, as was also Miss Glady's Hannan’s solo ‘Beyond.’ Miss Lily Cottle excelled herself in ‘Among the Daisies’ and ‘When the Stars sing home.’ Mr Stanley Croft was heard to great advantage in the two bass songs ‘The miner’ and ‘Afloat on the Deep,’ in both of which he was recalled. Mr Davey sang ‘The Star of Bothleheim’ and Archdeacon York ‘The Village Blacksmith” both gentlemen being in good voice. Mr Cadzow as is usual with him captivated the audience with ‘Sally Horner’ and ‘The march of the Cameron men,’ and in response to a voiefemus encore ‘Long ago in Alcala’ and ‘The jaunting car.’ Mr Taylor sang ‘Hearts of Oak and for an encore ‘Poor old Joe.’ Mas tor Eric Moss delighted the young and old with his clarionet selctiono from ‘The Pirates,’ a part of which he kind ly repeated. Mr Apted gave a very fine rendition of ‘Home Sweet Homo’ on his violin and Mrs Cadzow played a brilliant pianoforte selection astonishing the audience with the amount of melody and harmony produced by her one pair of hands. The accompaniments were tastefully played by Mesdarnes York Cadzow and Miss Cottle. The National Anthem concluded a very fine concert. The ladies of Runanga afterwards provided the performers with supper which was much appreciated.
