Rain ceased at five o’clock this morning, hut began again later. The only work done was on the grass track, which w*as good going. Glciiculloch and Golden Cairn were associated over six furlongs. Glenculloch had tlie best of the gallop, hut the light was too bad for timing. T\vo circuits were gone at half speed. Clanohattan went a mile easily in 1.49. Hon did live furlongs in 1.5. She was fully extended. Aimee Sonlt ran a similar distance easily in 1.7. ‘Elevation went for a five-furlong gallop, which was accomplished in 1.5, finishing well. Medallist and Blythemaid were companions in a strongly run seven furlongs in 1.34. The former’s effort was pleasing. Submarine beat Wirral by two lengths over seven furlongs in 1.32. A good performance. Oxton and Alexis together had a spin over five furlongs in 1.5. Oxton had the best of the gallop, lint carried more weight. Achilles heat Marguerite by two lengths over six furlongs in 1.18 3-5. After breakfast Chryseis ran a mile in 1.49. She was not extended. Bucelench, assisted by Amboi.se over the last half mile, covered six furlongs in 1.18 2-5. Fireiron ran six furlongs in 1.18. A good performance.
