GREY TROTTING CLUB.
The regular meeting of the Grey Trotting Club was held last night. Present —Messrs Petrie (chairman)), Kitcningham, Gieseking, Keddell, Perkins McCarthy, Eissonhardt, Bignell, Heaphy, .Wickes and Weber. . The debentures for the conversion of loan from 8 per cent to 7 per cent were fully applied "for, and allotted. Resolved that tenders be invited for extension of track, so as to make it hal. a mile in length and properly graded. This will make the track one of the best in the colony. The track should be in capital order for the Christmas meeting when the £IOOO Futurity. Stakes will be run for. This will be the largest stake ever given in this colony, and as there are nominations from all parts of the Colony and Australia, the meeting is looked forward to with great interest by breeders. In all 94 nominations were received for the event.
