MR BELL'S LECTURES.

Special attention is called to the announcement in our j^yertismgxoumns to-day. Mr Frederic Bell, D.D. Electro-Medical Expert and senior consulting representative to the well-known and ever progressive Freeman and Wallace Medical. Institute, of Sydney and Melbourne, will eive two of his moßt popular lectures ill the Town Hall to-day. At 3 p.m. Mr Bell will lecture to ladies only, on "Suffering Woman and Her Heroic Fortitude' to Endure." In its farreaching educational influence for women, with its many valuable hints, pertaining to the attainment of that perfect, glorious womanhood which is doubtless the aim of one and all, we are informed that this lecture has received the highest praise from the press of all countries. At 8 p.m. Mr Bell will give his second address,, which will be to men only. The subject is entitled "Man's Disobedience to Nature's Laws." The southern press, Dunedin and Christchurch in particular, speak in most flattering terms in reference to Mr Bell s splendid and masterful delivery, and both ladies and gentlemen are most cordially invited to attend at 3 p.m. and 8 vm. respectively. Admission to these lectures is free and there is no collection. The reading public of Australasia have for years been familiar with the names of Messrs Freeman and Wallace. Messrs Freeman and Wallace have opened consulting rooms at the Albion Hotel for one week. Consultation, examination and advice will be given entirely free of charge. Hours of Consultation are from -U a.m. to 12 noon; 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. All sufferers from nervous and chronic diseases, or the many specific ailments peculiar to men and women, are especially invited to avail themselves of this splendid opportunity without delay.
