Local agents of the vessel state she carried a cargo of about eight thousand tons, valued at £200,000. including a thousand tons of rails for the Victorian Government. Most of the Australasian insurance companies hold lines on the cargo, ranging from £SOOO to £20,000. The hull which is valued at £45,000, is believed to bo insured in Homes offices besides.
