At Preston yards yesterday there was an entry of 70'fat cattle and between 300 and 400 sheep and lambs. Prices of beef were, sli'-litly hotter than previous sales. Nest bullocks £9 10s, medium £7 10s: fat heifers £7 7s 6d to £5. Fat sheep—Ewes and wethers 18s to 15s 9d. Fat lambs 15s 3d to 10s 3d.
