A Bill lias been introduced into the Congress preparatory to the construction of a boulevard 3300 miles in length. It will be a sort of appian way from the Atlantic to the Pacific Coast, and partly utilising (he ancient Washing-ton-St. Louis post road. It is hoped that it will facilitate automobile touring.
