In other words, Lincoln College was not a popular institution •such as it existed. Mr Seddon, after his visit, suggested that twenty students from tho Hawkesbnry Agricultural College of New South V, ales should bo sent to the Lincoln College in New Zealand. Mr Seddon has promised to ask tho authorities of Lincoln College to send twenty of their students to Hawkeshury College. Such a scheme, lie remarked, would prove a invaluable interchange of ideas with regard to the difference of farming conditions in New South Wales and New Zealand. He was prepared, if the New South Wales Government would defray the expenses of sending their students, to see that the New Zealand Government would defray tho expenses of the New Zealanders.

SYDNEY, May 18. Mr Seddon was entertained at an official dinner last night. Tho gathering was a most representative one and included Deakin (Federal Premier), Lyne (Minister of Customs), tho Speaker of the House, the President of (he Council, tho Lord Mayor, McGowan (leader of the Opposition) and Jackson (of tho Union Company).
