Young Smartly was having a holiday in the country, and thought himself no end of a toll'.
One day he noticed a pretty damsel taking a ,good look at him. Turning to her he asked : "And whom do I remind you of my dear ?” "Well, with your big stand-up collar you put me in mind of a donkey looking over a whitewashed wall,” replied the matter-of-fact young maiden.
