(TO THE EDITOR.)
Sir, —I should like to know whether or not the public schoolhouses are to ba used as Sunday schools for the instruction of the children in out-of-the-way places. Surely religious instruction is of far greater importance than the minor arts. On Sunday, 17th October, a certain scho.d teacher refused to allow the key of the schooL notwithstanding the fact that a teacher and number of children walked over a mile in order to attend the meeting. Hoping that the editor will kindly insert the above, —I remain, yours truly, Justice.
