AN EXPORT BALANCE A SATISFACTORY CHANGE Ottawa, April IS Canada ended tlie last fiscal year with an export trade balance of U7.U93.48H dollar*}. Domestic exports for the 12 months ended March 81 totalled 478,907,455 dollars, against 406,218.972 for imports. At the end of the preceding year the Dominion had an import balance of 2,148.580 dollars- The value of tlie total importations then was 578.492,882 dollars and of domestic exports 570.844.802 dollars.

Exports of wheat last year totalled 289.875.225 bushels, valued at 180.546.8G5 dollars, compared with 191.816.988 bushels, valued rut- 116,79.451 dollars for tlie preceding 12 months.
