I*i esa dshotidtiuii Christchurch, April I‘J The prolonged period without rain is having its effect on the stock entered at the Addington market and the quality generally is indifferent- Store sheep and lambs are not in demand as the result of the general shortage in feed and water. Fat lambs and sheep are firm at late rates while c-attle supplies are decreasing in numbers and quality.

Store sheep.—-Forward m.s. lambs, 5s f)d to Gs 10 1: medium, -‘is to ss; inferior. Is Gd to 2s 7' 1 good crossbred ewe lambs, to 7s 4d ; good 2-tli halfbred ewes to 15s 8d: medium, 12s to 1 ordinary, to 9s: and 4 and 6-tli crossbred. 12s 4d to 13s Gd; medium. to 11s 3d; good 4-year old crossbred, to 10s: ordinary, to 4s; inferior. Gd to 2s 9d : LaP bred wethers, 4s to Gs 3d.

Fat lambs.—E v tin prime heavy lambs, to 17s Id; prime heavy, 13s Gd to 15s; prime medium weight, 10s Gd to 13s; light, 8s to 10s-

Fat sheep.- —Extra prime heavy wethers, to 18s 7d; prime heavy, 15s to 10s Gd; medium weigiu prime, 12s Gd to 14s Gd ; ordinary quality, 10s Gil to 12s; light, !Js to 10s; extra prime ewes to 12s 4d ; prime, 9s Gd to 10s Gd; medium weight, 7s Gd to 9s; ordinary, Gs to 7s; light, 4s Gd to 5s Gd.
