PARTY AT MAKINO
POPULAR YOUNG COUPLE A kitchen evening was tendered to Miss Bernice Beazer and Air TV. Baker, bv Makino residents A Monte Carlo waltz was won bv Miss Bita Thurston and Air L Bink. and during the evening Miss Lottie Baker delighted" with her singing Mr P IU Simpson. M.C., on behalf of the gathering invited the o-uests of honour to accept the parcels piled high upon a large table and Air TV. P. Bickers for the Tennis Club presented them with a fine alarm clock, voicing members’ appreciation of tbe splendid work done +or the club bv Aliss B. azer and AD Baker The latter expressed thanks for the good wishes and useful gifts. A very dainty supper was served and dancy was resumed to excellent music.
