THE .FOOTBALL CLUB At the annual meeting of the Apiti Football Club Mr A. B. .McXac presided over a good attendance of members. The election of officers resulted: Patron, ill W. .McKenzie, sen. President Mr \V, Osborne; vice-presi-dents, Messrs J. S. Mclntyre, W. H. Watson, It. Clieyne, J- H. Cowan, 11. L. Osborne, Colin Seurie, F. Swift, E H. Cummeriielu, L. Guy, E. J. Wingate, A. E. Prujuan and C. Stevens. Secretary-treasurer, .Mr H. G. Mapson. Senior coach, Mr J. Strahan. Delegates to Oroua Union, Messrs W. Osborne, T. Howells. It was decided to open the .season immediately. The secretary's action regarding suggesting April la for a, practice match against Feilding was confirmed. it is hoped that there will be a junior competition this year so that a senior and junior team may be nominated.
