YOUNG MAN KNOCKED OFF BICYCLE SATURDAY NIGHT ACCIDENT A distressing accident occurred near Newbury on Saturday evening, resulting in the death of a 20-year-old farm hand named John Patrick O Farie.l, who resided with his parent* at Kauwhata. The bicycle was struck by the left mudguard and the lad thrown on to his head. He sustained concussion and was removed to the Palmerston Hospital where he died at 10.30. three hours later.
