THE WOMEN’S INSTITUTE ITS ANNUAL MEETING The Cheltenham Womott's Xnstv tuto had a very good gathering, MnE. E. Short- presiding for the- annual meriting. The report and balance sheet sh oct a very successful year, .starting the new year with a credit balance of nearly £25, after having donated over £22 to various objects during (lie oast 12 months. A now Committee of 14 was elected .with Mrs E. E. Shorf again as President, and Mrs Hillman and Mrs Hoeken as vice-presidents. It was announced that the an nual meeting of the Wellington Provincial Federation would he held at Feilding on April 2& and all members were urged to be present.

A competition was won by Mrs Cameron and a game of Musical Parcels by Mrs Pollock. Afternoon ten and musical items concluded the social programme and votes ot thanks were then accorded those who had acted as hostesses and nil who had helped during th 0 year.
