CONDITIONS OF CATHEDRAL
WEAKNESS IN ONE WALT, (Per Press Association.) Hamilton, October 3. Anxiety has been caused to the cathedral authorities by weaknesses which have developed in the west wall of. St. Peter’, Cathedral. Although there is no danger of immediate collapse, parts of a wall liavo fallen away, and its entire reconstruction may lie necessary. The wall was originally elected temporarily, as additions were, planned. The matter will be dealt with by the chapter shorfcly.
