ACROSS TASMAN SEA ACCIDENTS ON M AUNGANUI SEA COATES TN PORTHOLES A u»t<. aitr l N.Z. (Received Aug. 16, 2: p.m.) Sydney, A ugust 16. Arrived at 7.30, the Alaunganui from Wellington. The vessel encountered very rough weather during the crossing ot Tas man Sea. Dr. P. Marshall, consulting geologist to the New Zealand Public Works Department, was washed out of liis cabin when the portholes wei* c broken by the waves. Two women passengers shared a similar fate.
