TO-DAY’S FEILDING SALE KEEN DEMAND FOR DAIRY STOCK (Aon fide nee in. tho .dairy prpduea market was reflected ai to-day’s stock sale, whan the demand lor springing; lieifer s especially was very keen, and prieast showed some advance oil those ruling last week. To-dav’s hyst price was £8 10s, which is £1 better than the highest of a, week ago. There uas a large yarding of generally good quality. The fat cattle market showed a slight improvement, .and- the (dullness which had characterised . like. . market lor many months has apparently passed. A medium yarding of extra good quality fat sheep was offered. Fat u.eitheis and ewes advanced Is Oil mi last week’s rates, but fat hoggets were slow of sale. A medium yarding of store sheep, with only a few pen.s of breeding ewes, the lively tone of this market having passed, as lambing is proceeding. There was a good demand for store hoggets.
