REVOLT IN PERU
MOVEMENT LED BY MILITARY THREAT TO GOVERNMENT (Aust. and N.Z. Cable) Lima (Peru). Aug. 23. A serious military revolt in Southern Peru has threatened tho Administration and President Legma. The garrison at Arequipa, tho third city of the republic, was at tho helm of the movement. The Government is said to be sending naval and aircraft against the rebels.
