FLOOD CONTROL
LOAN PROPOSAL IX TIIE MANAAVATU (Per Press Association' Palmerston N., March 7. Definite action is to be taken by tli e Manawatu-Oroua River Board in its efforts to secure freedom from lloods in the lower reaches of the Manawatu river. The board intends, as soon as th e area has been reclassified, to submit a loan proposal en its modified scheme of flood control.
