HIGHWAYS FUNDS
WORK FOR UNEMPLOYED (Per Press Association) Christchurch, March 7. The executive of the. Citizens’ Unemployment Committee to-day decided to draw the Government’s attention to the fact that large sums of money a.t, the disposal of the Main Highways Board could be used to improve and extend main highways and in that way add to the country’s assets, and give employment t° hundreds of men.
