THIRD DAY’S PLAY BEGINS

In the Test match there is a correction in New Zealand’s score. There was a, no ball to Woolley, which makes the total 440. The weather was fine, but misty for the resumption of play at 11.30. Nichols (48) and Gilligan (20) continued their innings, the bowlers being Merritt and Badooek. At 11.50 Merritt bowled Gilligan.—2Bß—7—32. At noon the score was 297 for eight wickets.
