NON-STOP DISTANCE FLIGHT DRITTSH EFFORT SHORTLY (Aust. and N.Z. Cable) . (Rugby, Dec. 4. The Royal Air Force long-distance aeroplane, which in the spring flew non-stop to India and has since its return undergone slight alterations at the NorthoM, aerodrome, to-da.y flew to Cramvell aerodrome, Lincolnshire, which has a specially long take-off, to await a favourable opportunity to start- another attempton the long-distance flight record. Squadron-Leader Jones-Williams and Fliight-Lieut. Jenkins, who took the ■machine on its Indian flight, will attempt to fly over Africa non-stop to the Cape, a distance of about 6000 ■miles, A start will be made in about a fortnight.
