Badly holed and a complete wreck, the s.s. City of Norwich is ashore at Gardner Lsland, 000 miles north of Samoa. Her S.O.S. signals were hoard at Apia, yesterday and the steamer Trongate is rushing- to her aid. So dangerous is her position that the crew bad to abandon the ship immediately.
