On. the occasion of Mr Thomas Edison's 82nd birthday to-day and the dOthe anniversary of the invention of the incandescent lamp, Mr Henry Ford made a gift of £I,OOO, 000 for a museum, Dearborn©, to house the Edison collection.
In a leititer announcing the gift. Mr Ford warmly praises Ills friend and declares the proposed, museum necessary, as an inspiration to Am© rieau youth.
