There are Do persons still in hospital at Hamburg as the result of the explosion of a tank of phosgene gas. Seven persons are in a critical condition and the slate of 20 others is serious, but, the doctors hope to save thorn Mon in gas masks are parading the deserted streets, the scones being ,reminseeut of war time. It will he days before the people ran return to their homes.

Officials deny any knowledge of the existence of the gas. although there, ;I r,-> allegation.', that it was manfunemred in Russia an emergency supply against disturbances during the R 11 Hi- occupation.
