COLLISION AT BEACONSFIELD

CAR. v. MOTOR BTCYCLE When Mr Lashlie, of Feilding, was coming along Cunningham’s road, Beaconsfield, this morning on a motor bicycle he had to make a wide sweep to avoid somei heavy growth m the tui fern, which had spread well over the road. In making the sweep Mr Lashliec. crashed into a motor car driven by Mr D. C. Old. The latter was not injured, but Mr Laislilie came a cropper- his machine being considerably damaged. Although considerably bruised and shaken, rt was found on medical examination that Mr Lashlie, fortunately, had not suffered any broken bones.
