BUSY WEEK AHEAD
The current week will be a busy one in. Parliament.
The resolutions in connection with tho tariff revision "ill he brought down this evening and considered in committee. A Jong sitting is expected, lor tlie proposals must bo put through without delay. "Toco rd ing to bis promise that a day would be allotted for further consideration of the Summer Time Bill, the Prime Minister has agreed that it shall be set down for tomorrow. So far, no arrangement lias been come to between the rival paifties and Jfclte Railway Depart*, jneiit as to flic adjustment of railway time-tables to satisfy the farmers’ objections, but a further conference will be held to-morvow. If the result is satisfactory it is expected that the Bill will go through its remaining stages without' much more dehate, but fading a compromise being reached-; the opponents, who are in a two to one minority in the House, declare their intention, to coptfu.no the stonewall which was interrupted some days ago. Government Bills will propably have , consideration on Thursday, and further-classes of tho Estimates on Friday, but if the obstruction on the daylight saving measure continues the programme will, ol : course, bo affected.
