AMERICA AND RUSSIA. Biarritz. Miss Audrey Emery, the American heiress, -at •jnoon became [Princess Iliskaia of Russia anti wife of the Grand .Duke Dmitri. Pavlovitch, the first cousin of the late Czar and soi of the late Grand Duke Paul. The marriage, according to the Russian royal code,’ was a morganatic one, and Miss Emery is therefore not a grand 'duchess. Her title, is a courtesy one, and was conferred on her by the Grand Duke Michael, now head of the Russian Royal Family, The wedding took place amid scene's of gorgeous splendour at the Russian church at Biarritz in the presence of many of the, nobility of old Russia, and with tlie sanction of the Russian Orthodox Church.
