MYSTERY DISEASE
IS SPREADING ALARM. A mysterious malady, hitherto believed to he non-contagious and said to have originated exclusively among Russian Jews, is spreading alarm in Paris. The malady is known as Buerger’s disease, and the only known remedy is to amputate affected limbs. Professor Del bet, the noted Paris surgeon, believes that the disease is spreading rapidly, but that hitherto it lias been confined almost exclusively ot Polish and Russian Jews 2tween the ages of 27 and 40. Dr. Mar clip k, who is a pupil, of Professor Delbet, has lost both Ins feet from the disease.
