ASTRONOMER DEAD
MR J, T. WARD 'Per Pres-j Assooin.l ion 1 Wanganui, Jan. 4. Advice was received at Wanganui of the death a‘,t of Mr J. T. Ward, who was in business here very many years as a bookseller, and who, retired- a few months' ago. Deceased was a. well-known astronomer, and at the time of hi* death was in charge of -the city’s observatory.
