The, possibilities of Hie extension of the coastal shipping strike to the inter-Stato services was 'discussed at a meeting of the Seamen’s Union last night. Certain at the extremists favoured an all-in policy, which would mean the withdrawal of the seamen from the iuLerestaie ships .but Hie majority manifested a strong disinclination to bring about any further trouble. The general feeding was that the Union ban' already been bard bit by the coastal trouble, which they said should bo settled as soon as possible. Jacolv Johansen urged that if the seamen thought they had no chance of winning, they should make peace at once, and this view was adopted.
