THIEF DIES OF FRIGHT
IN' TAXI 'WITH £12,000 Philadelphia, Dec. 27. Even ,an experienced crook sometimes loses his nerve, but seldom to such an extent that he dies of fright_ But feat: of capture to-day. killed Edward Keller' as he fled through the streets of Philadelphia in a taxi with 012,000 stolen money. Keller was tile central figure in the famous trunk murder' case in 1913. His business partner was the victim. Keller was sentenced to gaol for life, but was reelased last year after serving nine years. ileeenty he had been employed as niglitwatcbman at the bank from which he stole the £12,000 found in the taxi. The coroner said death was due to heart- faiure induced by- fear of capture.
