ROYALTY VISITS DESOLATED AREA. lAust. ana N.Z. Cable). Brussels, Jan. J. 'l'heir Majesties to-day lengthily visited the inundated regions around Namur and Din ant. The situation in the Liege, Namur and Brussels districts is greatly improved, but the position in the lowlying districts, notably tho Waal area, is worse. Their Majesties subscribed 2,000,000 francs to the. national fund for the victims' of the flood, comprising money presented to them on the occasion of their silver wedding last year, - plus a personal gift of ICO,COO fra nos.
