BEWARE SHARKS!

That large sharks arc still to be I'ouud well within the harbour limits was proved when one of the grey nurse species, Bft 2in in length, ’was caught from a launch about half, a mile from Point Chevalier beach. The successful fishermen were Messrs 1\ • Cofhett and T. Haughton. Before being -secured the shark made away with two sell nappe i* lines, hut when hooked it man poor fight and was brought alongside the launch in about seven minutes. Another large shark was observed swimming near the launch, but it was too wary to take the bait.
