AX.N'UAL CONFERENCE, Press Association. Batmevirke, Dec. 30. The annual North Island camp and conference of Seventh Day Adventists held its opening session last night. The conference is being held in the A. and P. Showground, which lias been converted into a miniature canvas town, delegates numbering about 50U being accommodated in lot) tents with both living and dining quarters. Pastor W. R. Scragg, president of the conference, extended a welcome to the delegates, who included rasloi O. Montgomery, vice-president of* the general conference, in charge of their denominational work in North America, Professor H. h. Wood, principal of the Australian Missionary College, and Pastor W.- J. Wcslerman, president of the South Island conference. heT. conference will hist until .January lU.
