Seine. The Egypt lies in 64 fathoms af .water. She carried a total of £539,0C0 in gold and £250,000 in .silver. The Egypt was outward bound for Bombay when she collided in a thick log with the French cargo steamer Seine some 12 miles off Ushant, and sank in about 20 minutes.
