CAR OVERTURNS AT DANGEROUS CORNER

Press Association Telegram. Christchurch, Sept. -1. F. .1. Stewart, (.‘SO), u single matt, living in River road, Christchurch, was killed last evening at Perrin’s Ford, Kaiapoi, through a, car in which lie was a passenger overturning. At the inquest, P. L. O. Inder stated that he was returning from Amherlv through Pangiora to avoid flic Fain North iltouid to Christchurch under direction ol Air Stewart.. As he approached Kaiapei, lie did not notice- a- laid corner at Forrests Ford, hie got slightly off the road and attempted to recover it at the corner, hut the grade of the road was against the tm n; and the sharp corner caused the ear to overturn. The verdict was that 'loath was ■due to injuries in a motor accident at Forrest’s Ford corner. The Coroner recommended that :t was desirable that a white ' Iciicf should be erected at the corner to warn meter traffic at night.
