At the inquiry into the Gympic railway smash last month, Mr MeGinley, representing the Australian Bailwaymen’s Union, said he would call evidence in support of the belief that the accident was not caused by any obstruction, blit by the depression of a hole on the outside rail of the curve. He intended to call evidence to show that the rails on the curve were irregular and not properly laid.
