Besides the cancer discoveries, there i.s great interest in tne farreaching advance in the treatment of smallpox and kindred germ-car-rying diseases, which Dr. Mervyn Gordon is expected to reveal shortly as the reslut of researches into cowpox and smallpox viruses. He has been engaged three years in research work in the laboratories of St. Bartholomew’s hospital oil behalf of the -Medical Research.
